Cherepos Artes Foundation Projects

This is where our Foundation projects live.
Led by foundation artists Sterling Brown and Naomi Nishimura, these projects focus on Costa Rican clay, regional identity, and collaborative making.

Each project carries its own theme and may involve invited exceptional talents—artists who bring distinct skills, perspectives, and energy to the work.

Some collaborations are grounded, others deliberately excessive. Projects like the Toucan Pitcher, developed by Sterling and Naomi, are designed to go over the top—celebrating scale, humor, and technical mastery rooted in local materials.
